Outward Beauty: Not the Key to Happiness

You may think somebody's life is perfect because of how they look and how they act.  They wear the newest trends and hang out with the coolest people, but does that really mean that they never encounter barriers or are upset from time to time? Not necessarily.  They may look like their life is perfect, but in reality, it's not.  Their life could be off track.  They could be putting up a barrier so that people don't see who they really are. But most importantly, they do not possess inner beauty.  Inner beauty is extremly more important then outward beauty.  It shows who you really are, even though you may not hang out with the "right" crowd or live in a big house.  It can show that you are on God's path and that you are genuinely confident about yourselve and who you are.  You become more motivated and determined to do what's right and to never stray from God's path.  Inner beauty doesn't depend on what you look like from the outside, it's what matters most on the inside.

  1. It's true! Isn't it ironic how SO many people try SO hard to be "one-of-a-kind" in how they walk, talk, and dress but what they really are doing is hiding their true selves behind a mask?
